Each site is designed from scratch to meet your specific needs. Every page is developed with W3C standards in mind to be as accessible and search engine friendly as possible. All sites undergo rigorous testing in all popular modern browsers, including Internet Explorer for Windows, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, and Safari for Mac.
Please note sites are not tested on Internet Explorer 5 for Mac. Microsoft has ceased support for this browser and is not providing further security or performance updates [more info]. It is recommended users migrate to Apple's excellent Safari browser.
Extra Features
The past few years has seen rapid growth in the broadband market (According to the Office of National Statistics, as of February 2006 broadband accounted for 64% of all net connections in the UK). The problem for businesses is that this has meant the expectations of net users has grown too. Visitors still want the basic information that sites have always provided, but they are now demanding it to be presented in new, more engaging ways. It is becoming increasingly important that a site entertains and interacts with its visitors, using elements such as a guestbook, message board or feedback form and smart and stylish flash animations.
Updates
It is extremely important to ensure a site's content is kept up-to-date. If a customer visits your site and discovers that it has not been updated recently, they will immediately lose confidence in all the information on your site. For example, if there is a news page that was last added to in August 2003, how can a visitor know that the contact information is still accurate? In addition to this trust issue, users are much more likely to revisit a site that is well maintained with regular content updates. Updates can either be done on a one-off, or a more regular/block basis. If you prefer to update the site yourself there is also the option of incorporating a secure, easy to use content management system.
Hosting
You may already have access to some web space and/or have a registered domain name for your site. While every effort will be made to develop a site to work with your current hosting provider, it should be stated that because of compatability issues, this is not always possible (for example many ISP's offer a certain amount of "Free Web Space" with their products, but if their servers do not support PHP it would severely restict the options for interactive content on your site). If you do not already have a compatable hosting provider, competitively priced hosting and domain registraion packages tailored to the needs of your site can be provided.

Flash
Flash is a platform developed by Macromedia (recently acquired by Adobe), that enables rich content such as animated effects and video to be displayed on web pages.adobe.com
CMS
A Content Management System allows you complete control of the content of your pages. You simply log in to a secure area of the site, choose the section you wish to edit and type away.
